Obsession: Hats

Weather in Texas is very fickle; cold in the morning, high 90s at noon, and windy & raining by evening .  But having unpredictable weather throughout the days has me reaching out to my favorite accessory next to my specs, my hats.  Rain or shine my hats are always there for protection and fashion.  Whatever the look may be, adding a hat to your outfit pulls it together and looks effortlessly chic.  On days when i embrace my cool bedhead hair I wear baseball hats, it adds a punch of color to my laid back look and is very city chic.  My go to hat is always the Tilby, a shorter brim than the fedora, is always a no fail for me. Panama hats (made of straw) was a savior for my husband & I during our honeymoon trip to Italy, it protected us from the harsh sun rays.   Hats can be incorporated into your style if you to take it up a notch rather than wearing your go-to look. There are many kinds of hats with different kind of styles and colors till you find one that your comfortable with. Here are some of my collections and me wearing them: Enjoy!

Skin Regimen: DAILY & NIGHTLY

Konichiwa guys!

Hitting 30 is a very big deal for me and for most women.  Not everyone is born with perfect skin, but we certainly can  try. Like many women,we will do and buy just about anything no matter how cheap or expensive as we see results! If our skin is at its best we feel it in the inside as well,  and purchasing one or two products to help us to prevent further damage to our skin (i.e sun worshiper) won't hurt us to keep the rest of the world to keep guessing our age. But let's remember beauty is definitely subjective and only skin deep.

My skin is very acne-prone/oily, and for the last 4 months I've been suffering major cystic acne and was prescribed antibiotics and of course medicated products to help with the scarring, redness and acne. Here I am showing you the products that I've been using religiously that been leaving my skin acne free and hydrated for the last two months. Hope it'll help you darlings!

Step 1: Remove Makeup
Lumene Gentle Cleansing Wipes (L)-Using facial wipes helps to remove my makeup before cleansing. Lumene Gentle Cleansing Wipes is 95% natural ingredients and free from: colorants, ethyl alcohol, fragrance, parabens, paraffin oil and silicones.
Maybelline Clean Express! Makeup Remover (R)- remove makeup and waterproof eye makeup. Its gentle for sensitive skin and gals who wear contacts, plus its oil free and hypoallergenic!!

Step 2: Cleanse
M.D. Forte III with my Olay Pro X Cleanser Brush is seriously my Holy Grail. My derm prescribed this facial cleanser for my severe acne which helped clear up my acne! Its soap free, non-comedogenic, fragrance free and oil free to prevent further acne breakout. Also contains high dose of glycolic acid. The Olay Pro Cleanser Brush was a great steal! It works soo much effective than using your hands. It works just as good as the others (shall not name it) but cheaper!!

Step 3: Lotion/ Moisturize

HADA LABO Super Hyaluronic acid Lotion Smoth Light (L)- light texture Toner (Lotion is equivalent to a toner in Asia) that leaves your skin rehydrated and smooth.
HADA LABO Milk- All I can say is this combined with the lightweight lotion makes your skin super moisturized and smooth like a baby's bottom!

P.S. both Hada Labo products are great for sensitive skin. It's also fragrance free, colorant free, oil free and alcohol free. Little is known about this product here in the States but these products are hot hot hot that it actually sells every 4 secs or so they claim to be. But if its good enough for the Asians who carry smooth and flawless skin its good enough for me!

Step 4: Treatment

Step 4 is what i used only for night time. Since I have crazy acne, I have to control it during the night.

Josie Maran Argan oil- I cannot say enough how good argan oil is good to not only my skin but also my hair. It's completely noncomedogenic ( does not clog pores).

Skincare Cosmetics Retinol ANTI-WINKLE FACIAL SERUM- PREVENTION IS KEY! this little baby packs 500,000 I.U's vitamin A. It prevents future wrinkles/lines and also helps fight acne!!
All my Mario Badescu products are specified for acne-prone skin. It prevents and treats acne. I use these babies when i need to minimize the giant hill that's sitting in my face.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion- claims to "reduces the severity, size and frequency of breakouts" and boy does it deliver! you place the lotion to all acne prone areas. Soo powerful that you can only use it every other day.
Mario Badescu Anti-Acne Serum- this serum also does the same job as the buffering lotion and helps speed up the healing process
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion- this magic lotion really works! it minimizes the acne, redness and soothes at the same time. You're beloved might see you as an alien but honey that sh*t will make a big difference the next day.

Last but certainly not the least is my Sephora Instant depuffing roll-on gel- works wonder for my Jigglypuff(y) eyes. I never thought these things worked until i saw a major difference when I woke up the next morning. Now I wear it in AM & PM. So As you can see my skin regimen is very specific to my acne war zone face. With products that is oil free, noncomedogenics, hypoallergenic is definitely making a big difference to my skin.
